Neem is one of the most important ingredients in our soil mix and provides a multitude of benefits. It has been used for thousands of years in Asia for soap, bug repellent and anti-bacterial medicine.
Not only does it provide nutrition, but it is also contains anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-pest properties. It enables the plant to boost it's own SAR, producing better aromas than ever before.
Neem has been used in India for thousands of years to protect against pests in the home and in stored food supplies.
It is still used today by mixing Neem leaves with Rice, Wheat or other grains for long term storage.
Not only is Neem a fantastic pest deterrent on its own, but it works with your plants to boost it’s SAR (Systemic Acquired Resistance) and enhance it’s own natural pest defences.
It is used in our soil mix, but also as a top dress. It can be used as a foliar as well and is recommended to use Neem meal or oil for your weekly IPM.
Neem is ideal for soil fertility due to being a nutrient accumulator itself, with deep reaching roots, pulling up nutrition from down below the soil surface where other plants can’t reach. Neem is rich in N,P & K, but also contains all other nutrients and minerals for plant growth.
