Spidex Vital – Phytoseiulus persimilis – 10,000 (SPID4)

£80.00

Spidex Vital Phytoseiulus persimilis is a fast-acting predatory mite of Two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae. This highly specific predatory mite efficiently targets all life stages of the spider mite—eggs, larvae, nymphs, and adults. With its relatively long legs compared to other predatory mite species, P. persimilis is well adapted to move rapidly across webbing produced by spider mites, allowing it to hunt effectively even in dense infestations. The difference between standard Spidex and Spidex Vital, is the Phytoseiulus persimilis in the Spidex Vital product introduced will turn from white to red after feeding on spider mites due to a difference in the food the mites are raised on. This gives a good indication of the presence of spider mite in the crop and that the predatory mites are actively feeding.
